Girard Foundation is a private, family foundation established in 1986. Our mission is to improve K-12 education in San Diego County by supporting projects and programs for systemic change.

The Foundation focuses on programs that have a systemic impact through changing practices, creating new infrastructures and collaborative partnerships, conducting research and policy analyses, and educating and engaging the public. The following are our primary areas of interest:
